Drax Hall, St. Ann – October 8, 2025: The North Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (NJC) will hold its 5th Quadrennial Session on February 4-5, 2026, as the church prepares to elect leaders and set its mission agenda for the next four years.
In an official circular to all congregations, Pastor Karl Archer, president of the North Jamaica Conference, described the upcoming session as a significant milestone that will “have a profound impact on the future mission of God’s work.”
The conference, headquartered at Drax Hall, has called members to a period of earnest prayer in preparation for the event. Citing Philippians 4:6, Pastor Archer urged churches, families, and small groups to seek divine guidance, unity, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in preparation for the session.
Members were specifically asked to pray for wisdom among delegates, humility among potential leaders, and renewed focus on evangelism and mission during the next term.
Further details regarding the venue, schedule, and delegate information will be released by the Office of the Secretariat, according to the announcement.
The North Jamaica Conference oversees the work of the Seventh-day Adventist churches in Jamaica’s northern region, which includes St. Ann and Trelawny.
