Pastor's Profile
Pastor Amiel Summerbell joined the North Jamaica the North Jamaica Conference family in October 2011 as a ministerial intern in the Salem District of Churches. His service as intern continued in the Brown's Town, Falmouth and St. Ann's Bay districts. He was appointed Associate Pastor of the Stettin District in April 2014 and Pastor in January 2015. Since then, he has served as senior pastor of the Salem and Exchange Districts. The Church recognised his ecclesiastical call in March 2017.
Pastor Summerbell completed a Bachelor of Arts in Religion at Northern Caribbean University and a Master in Project Management with the University for International Cooperation.
At the North Jamaica Conference Session 2018 he was elected to serve as Youth Ministries Director and was re-elected 2022 with an added Children's Ministries Department.
In October 2013 he married his love Ronnet Lawrence. They have 2 beautiful children: Ameira-Jael and Asher-Zaine.
He embraces the philosophy of Romans 8:28 "...all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
