Pastor's Profile

DANIEL FREDRICK MILLER was born on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Jamaica, better known as the land of “wood and water.” He was raised in the yam parish of Trelawny, to Keith (Senior) Miller, a fisherman by trade and Cynthia Allen, a crafts vendor by profession. He is the first born of a pair of twins and the fifth child for his parents from a total of eight children. After graduating from Cedric Titus Comprehensive, he spent two years at home trying to figure out what to do with his life. After becoming an Adventist, he saw the need of furthering his education. As a result, he decided to attend the Brown’s Town Community College (BTCC) in St. Ann, where he graduated with a diploma in accounting. Upon graduating from BTCC in 2002 he accepted the Gospel call to ministry. He then went on to Northern Caribbean University (NCU) to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Theology. He later graduated from NCU in 2008 with second honor, Magna Cum laude.

In September 2010, Pastor Miller was employed by the North Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventist (NJC) as an intern Pastor and served as same in the St. Ann’s Bay, Ocho Rios, Moneague and Exchange Districts. Pastor Miller then received his first pastoral assignment as a District Pastor from NJC where he was assigned to the Exchange District in 2012. After spending approximately four years in the Exchange District, he was transferred to the St. Ann’s Bay District for two years, by which time he accepted a call to serve the Grenada Conference as a District Pastor in the major city of St. George in 2017. He also served as the manger for the St. George’s Seventh-day Adventist Primary School for three years. While serving in Grenada Pastor Miller completed his Master of Arts degree in Theology, he also holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling. After serving for three years in Grenada, Pastor Miller was called by the North Jamaica Conference to return to Jamaica and continue serving as a senior pastor in his home conference. Upon returning in 2020 he was placed in the Salem District of churches. On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, The North Jamaica Conference convened its 4th regular quadrennial session where Pastor Miller was elected to serve as the Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Director. Daniel has pastored in the North Jamaica Conference for eight years and currently serves the Salem District in St. Ann, Jamaica. He has also served on several boards and committees in North Jamaica and Grenada Conferences.

Pastor Miller’s life and ministry have been complimented by his blissful union to Felisha Francine Francis, for over 14 years. She is a graduate of Northern Caribbean University. She has been in business ever since and her husband considers her a lady of depth, style, and elegance. The union has been blessed with two wonderful children, a son and a daughter. Pastor Miller is honored by the call of God upon his life and is privileged to have the opportunity to be a servant of the Lord. He lives by the philosophy, “Put God’s business first and He will take care of your business” (Matt. 6:33). Daniel Miller loves the Lord and enjoys visiting his members. He also enjoys reading, playing football, badminton and spending time with his family.
