Pastor's Profile
O’Brian St P. Hawthorne hails from the Burnt Savannah District in the parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica. He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Theology from Northern Caribbean University (NCU). He has been serving as a minister of religion for approximately fourteen years in North Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Districts that he has served as an intern pastor were: St Ann’s Bay and Salem; as district pastor: Claremont, Reid’s Friendship, Falmouth and now Duncans. He is married to Amoy Pinnock-Hawthorne for approximately thirteen (13) years, and their union has produced two children: Amoyan and O’Brian Dennis.
Currently, he is a marriage officer and a volunteer chaplain with Jamaica Constabulary Force. He has been serving the Duncans District of Seventh-day Adventists for over three years.
He is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in counseling psychology at NCU. He enjoys socializing, exercising, gardening, and sharing God’s word.
O’Brian embraces the passage, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2: 5, NKJV).
