Pastor's Profile
Wayne Woolery was born in the parish of Westmoreland to parents: Delroy and Delores Woolery and is the last of seven (7) children. He attended the Coote Savannah Seventh-day Adventist Church where he gave his heart to the Lord on November 20, 1999. His Christian experience has seen him involved in a number of church activities. Through the influence of his church Pastor the late Omri Davis, Wayne Woolery was ordained as an Elder in 2011 and later transitioned to Northern Caribbean University (NCU) in 2013; however, in 2014 he heeded the call to full-time ministry and enrolled in the school of Religion and Theology.
During his tenure at NCU Wayne was involved in a number of Church and campus activities such as Junior Elder at NCU Church and Sabbath School Teacher. On campus, he served in a number of clubs including Student Association of Literature evangelist, Thee Spirit of Prophecy Club, Ministerial Fraternity and The United Student Movement.
In August 2017, Wayne Woolery completed his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Religion and Theology and was employed at North Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists on September 1, 2017. His internship started in the Falmouth and Brown’s Town District of Churches and later served as District Pastor in the Stettin District of Churches.
On December 18, 2021, Pastor Woolery was ordained to the gospel ministry. He supported in ministry by his beautiful and caring wife Jamoya Jones-Woolery and son Joshua. His mantra is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
